Terms of Service

Last updated May 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Azyro’s websites, apps, and services (together, “Azyro” or the “Platform”), operated by Azyro Marketplace, Inc. Azyro is a marketplace that lets barbershop owners (“Owners”) rent out unused barber chairs and workspace to independent barbers (“Barbers”) on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Please read these Terms carefully.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating an account, booking or listing a chair, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Platform. If you’re using Azyro on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Azyro. By using the Platform you represent that you meet these requirements and that you will comply with all laws, licensing, and health-and-safety regulations applicable to barbering in your location. Owners are responsible for ensuring their premises are lawfully operated and properly permitted.

3. Accounts

You’re responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or close accounts that contain false information or that violate these Terms.

4. The Azyro relationship

Azyro provides a marketplace for renting workspace only. Azyro is not a barbershop, salon, employer, staffing agency, or appointment-booking service for your clients. We do not employ Barbers or Owners, we do not supervise or direct how Barbers perform their work, and we do not set the prices Barbers charge their own clients.

Each booking creates a rental arrangement between an Owner and a Barber for the use of a chair and shared space. Azyro is not a party to that rental beyond operating the marketplace, facilitating the rental payment, and providing support. Owners’ house rules and any location-specific regulations apply in addition to these Terms.

5. Independent-contractor relationship

Barbers using Azyro are independent contractors operating their own businesses. Nothing in these Terms or in any booking creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship between a Barber and Azyro, or between a Barber and an Owner.

  • Barbers set their own prices, hours, services, and methods, and keep their own clients and appointment book.
  • Azyro takes no commission on services a Barber performs. Money clients pay a Barber for haircuts or other services belongs to the Barber and does not pass through Azyro.
  • Barbers are solely responsible for their own taxes, licenses, tools, products, and business obligations.

6. Listings, bookings & payments

Owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, including rates, availability, amenities, and house rules. A booking is confirmed when payment of the rental fee is authorized and the Owner’s availability is reserved for the selected dates.

Rental payments are processed through our third-party payment processor. By booking, you authorize Azyro and its processor to charge your selected payment method for the rental fee, the Azyro service fee, and any applicable taxes shown at checkout. Azyro facilitates the rental payment only; it does not process payments between Barbers and their clients.

7. Fees

The total shown before you confirm a booking includes the Owner’s rental rate for the chair and an Azyro service fee that supports operating the marketplace, payment handling, and support. Fees are disclosed before you commit and are not contingent on a Barber’s earnings. Azyro does not charge any percentage of, or commission on, service revenue. We may change our fees prospectively; changes won’t affect bookings already confirmed.

8. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellation terms are shown on each listing and at checkout before you book. Depending on the policy and timing, a cancellation may be fully refundable, partially refundable, or non-refundable. Owners may set stricter terms for longer rentals. Azyro’s service fee may be non-refundable as described at checkout. Where an Owner cancels a confirmed booking, the Barber is entitled to a refund of the rental fee for the affected dates.

9. Insurance

Some Owners require proof of professional liability insurance as a condition of renting their chair. Where a listing requires it, Barbers must upload a valid certificate during booking, and Azyro will keep that proof on file attached to the booking. Azyro does not sell insurance, is not an insurance broker, and makes no representation about the adequacy of any policy. Maintaining appropriate insurance and complying with the Owner’s requirement is the Barber’s responsibility.

10. Conduct

You agree not to:

  • provide false information, impersonate others, or misrepresent a listing;
  • use the Platform for unlawful purposes or in violation of barbering, health, or safety regulations;
  • circumvent the Platform’s payment system for rentals, harass other users, or damage an Owner’s premises;
  • scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the operation or security of the Platform.

Barbers and Owners are expected to treat each other and any clients on the premises with professionalism and respect.

11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” Azyro does not guarantee that a Barber will receive clients or income, or that a chair, premises, or amenity will meet a particular standard. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Azyro disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, Azyro’s total liability is limited to the fees you paid to Azyro in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim. Azyro is not responsible for the conduct of Barbers, Owners, or clients, or for the quality of any service performed.

12. Account suspension & termination

You may stop using the Platform at any time. Azyro may, at its discretion and without prior notice, suspend, restrict, or terminate any account when we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect the Platform, its users, or payment integrity — including for:

  • suspected fraud, payment fraud, or unauthorized card use;
  • suspicious or anomalous activity (e.g. unusual booking, login, or payment patterns, or signals from our fraud and risk systems);
  • excessive chargebacks, disputes, or failed/declined payments;
  • breach of these Terms, attempts to circumvent the Platform’s payment system, or unlawful, abusive, or unsafe conduct;
  • verification, legal, or regulatory requirements.

A suspended account loses access to bookings, listings, payouts, and messaging while the suspension is in effect. We may also reverse a shop’s payout where a related charge is disputed or reversed. Where appropriate we will tell you why and how to appeal; contact [email protected]. Termination does not affect obligations that by their nature survive (such as payment, disclaimers, and limitation of liability).

13. Disputes

Azyro offers a support process to help resolve disputes about bookings, access to the space, and rental payments, and may adjust or refund rental charges where our policies apply. Azyro does not arbitrate the quality of services or relationships between Barbers and their clients. Disputes between a Barber and an Owner that fall outside our policies are between those parties.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute not otherwise resolved through our support process, except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continuing to use the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
